Vocational and Skills Training: Crafting Pathways to Independence
Offering guidance counseling and practical training in various trades for underprivileged youth and women.
For youth and women sidelined by unemployment, skills are the key to unlocking doors. Our Vocational and Skills Training program delivers six-month courses in tailoring, hairdressing, mechanics, and digital basics, blended with counseling to build emotional resilience. We’ve trained 200 participants, with 70% securing jobs or starting micro-businesses.
In Paynesville’s training hubs, 18-year-old Marcus transformed from jobless to journeyman carpenter: “TYF’s guidance helped me believe in myself, and now my hands build furniture—and futures.” This hands-on approach equips our beneficiaries with tools for dignity and financial freedom, turning potential into prosperity.
